The World has Arrived to New Jersey Motorsports Park for the WSK World Series

Round 2 of the WSK World Series got underway in New Jersey today with a full round of Practice.  Factory Teams have been preparing equipment for two days, in preparation for Drivers from around the Globe to participate.

It is amazing how quickly the tents go from empty to abuzz with mechanics and drivers prepping their chassis for the event.  Yesterday marked the arrival of many of the chassis by overseas container.  The crews worked feverishly through the day on Tuesday and resumed on Wednesday to complete the preparation for on track activities.

Twenty-three countries spanning four continents make up the four categories of KF2, KF3, KZ2, and Super KF.  North America is well represented with 18 drivers from the United States and one from Canada.  Many world champions past and current are here racing against America's best.

Thursday will continue with a full day of official practice.  Friday will be practice with qualifying in the afternoon.  Saturday will be a full day of heat racing.  Sunday will showcase the finals in all categories.  Spectator admissions and paddock passes are available at the gate at the New Jersey Motorsports Park.

Championship Karting International is the host of this prestigious event organized by the WSK.
